Hello there!🙂 I’m Meghan, your local Colorado Springs Fantasy Photographer! 📸 I love all things magical, fantasy, nature, and enjoy working with animals. 🌿 I used to be a dog groomer for 8 years before I started my Photography business as well as a Wildlife Research Technician at NMSU. I’m a mom of a now teenager and two Shepsky (Husky / German Shepard / Malamute) mixes. 🐺🐺

Pets are welcome and encouraged for you to bring to your session! 🐾 I specialize in creative fantasy fine art portraiture including branding sessions, senior portraits, elopements, family, maternity, pets, cosplay, and boudoir. Sunrise and sunset golden hour into blue hour create the best portrait light outdoors. When mid day sun is too harsh, or weather is too cold, indoor locations are available to rent for added privacy. We can also get creative with composites! 🔮✨

Step 1: Send me an inquiry and tell me about your vision. What type of session are you interested in?

We will coordinate date + time and decide on the perfect location as well as secure any horse rentals, cow rentals, car rentals, or venue rentals / permits.

Step 2: Session Fee Retainer + Photography Contract are sent. Once they are paid and signed you are booked!

Step 3: Remainder of the Collection of your choice due the day before the session or can be paid in flexible pre-payment dates up until the day before the session.

Step 4: Arrive at your session ready to let loose and HAVE FUN! Don’t worry about getting the kids to pose perfectly or smile for every picture, we will get the raw candid moments and turn them into art that you can remember. I will help to pose and guide you with fun prompts to get natural laughs and emotions, such as “everyone hold hands and frolic towards me!”, “dance together!”, etc.

Step 5: Choose your favorites! Schedule a viewing appointment with me where we can go over your images and choose your final favorites for me to fully retouch. (This includes skin retouching, background replacements, removing people from background, taking wrinkles or stains out of clothes, whitening teeth, creative composites, etc.)

FAQ:
Q: Do we arrive dressed and ready to go or do we get ready when we get there?
A: Arrive dressed and ready to go. If we are renting a studio, we want to use as much of the time shoot as we can to get you the best variety of selections for your gallery.

Q: What are your outfit suggestions?
A: I recommend wearing neutral earthy tones such as dark emerald or forest green, rust, dark red, burgundy, blues, off-whites, cream colors, tans, browns, greys, blacks. Avoid busy patterns or bright neon colors or bright whites. I can recommend places to shop for outfits or you are welcome to use my client closet of 7 different colors of silk hand-made flying dresses from Greece. (one size fits all + kids sizes)


TURN AROUND TIME:
Turn around time depends on current workload but averages 2-4 weeks. Final galleries are delivered online where you will be able to download the social media sized digital files for sharing. I take careful time to ensure your portraits are up to my creative standard and quality for printing. This includes skin retouching, removing people or objects from the background, sky replacements, overall image enhancement and color correction with magical painterly effects for a timeless museum grade finish and mystical touch. 🪄
